Our go to Mediterranean favorites!

Gyros. That's what started my love of Mediterranean food. I blame The Gyro Guy during nights out at the Arena District. Coming from a small town in the middle of no where, there's not a lot of authentic Mediterranean around. Once I started exploring the cuisine, it made me fall more in love with it.

This cuisine spans the Mediterranean Sea and includes influences from a broad region of three main culinary areas; Europe (specifically Greece, Italy and Spain), Africa (particularly Algeria, Libya and Morocco) and the Middle East (including Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Israel). Not only are the dishes beautiful and delicious but they're so healthy for you. Studies have proved that adopting this as a diet can reduce the risk of heart disease, improve your digestive system, and a source of antioxidants! It's always made with the freshest ingredients, generally plant based, and herbs, spices, onions, and garlic are used as an alternative to salt.

It was a must on the list to have nearby when we moved. If you have yet to try it outside a gyro, you're definitely missing out. In no specific order, below is our current go to spots with photos of some of our favorite dishes.
