Yes, I'm really terrible at keeping up this year. This is me still catching up. This was supposed to come right after my last post and yes, my wedding has been months ago, but I still want to share!!

I, obviously wanted to ask my bridesmaids in a special way, so I also had Adam do the same to his groomsmen. Took him FOREVER to figure something out, and like my friends, there were a couple from out of state. He wanted something short, simple, and to the point. He thought of the idea of the drinking game "getting iced". I have known this game since college with the guys but this time he wanted to add something to it. Basically at any time or any place, you can some how hide/surprise someone with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice (any and all kinds of flavors) and when they see it, they have to take a knee and chug it. Very easy, very dumb, but also very funny. Here's my example.. I, of course was obsessed with pictures and everyone knew it. I always had a camera with me. Unfortunately, I had asked someone at a party to take a picture of me with the guys and one of them held a Smirnoff Ice right above my head. So when I got my camera back to look at the picture... I saw it and had to chug. Nothing like downing the sweetest alcohol. Yuck.
Didn't take long for him to choose who he wanted next to him on our big day, so we went to the store and got started.
- 6 Pack of Smirnoff
- Boxes
- Bubble Wrap
- Tape
- Random cushion type material
He wrapped each bottle with bubble wrap. Took the cushion material to again make sure it doesn't break and also drown out the liquid noise, then taped it up. Also Adam just grabbed random printer paper and hand wrote "I got down on one knee, now it's your turn. Best Man?/ Groomsman?". Very guy-like of him. For those who weren't near, I messaged their wives or significant others to make sure they record them opening their box. The videos to follow are all of their reactions. They're no more than a minute, some of course knew.. others didn't. They all took it like champs, it was so much fun watching them so enjoy!
